Patinated Brass

Finned vessel takes inspiration from the cylinder barrels found on early radial engined aircraft. Standing as a sculpture when empty, its outline captures light and highlights its towering sculptural form. When filled its contents are held high as if exploding from the top of its engineered structure.

FV-PB is green sand cast in Brass. It is available in a cast patinated finish which is applied over the course of 3 days to develop a thick textured patina. Each is vessel is unique, carrying marks from their manufacturing journey. Each vessel is made to order with a typical lead time of 6-8 weeks. Custom Finishes are available upon request.
